Past Grants

The GRDC will educate community members on the social determinants of health and how the built environment plays a large role in health outcomes and will provide a platform for community members to voice their concerns about environmental factors that impact their quality of life. Through collaborating public health professionals, urban planning experts, community development experts, and community engagement consultants, data mapping and awareness campaigns will help to develop recommendations to remove barriers to health for consideration in the City of Detroit Master Plan.
