Past Grants

This project builds on the early successes of United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s  innovative Feeding, Eating and Succeeding Together (FEAST) program, which empowers adults to adopt authoritative feeding practices operationalized by the evidence-based and best-practice feeding model, Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibility in Feeding. United Way for Southeastern Michigan will enhance the training curriculum, provide ongoing technical support and additional in-person educational opportunities, develop an online training center, and provide train the trainer sessions to help more parents and caregivers adopt feeding practices designed to protect against childhood overweight and obesity.
