The Food Bank Council of Michigan will implement a pantry-level data collection tool, determining an updated standard for poverty assessment and mapping various contributors or barriers to access to food. Additionally, the Food Bank Council of Michigan and Grand Valley State University will develop a platform to assess food insecurity across Michigan. The Food Bank Council of Michigan will share information with the safety-net program provider community and the State of Michigan to encourage its use as a resource in policy and program development.
