This grant will support the second year of a proof of concept, pilot phase that tests free Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares as a means to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among Michigan families in Detroit, Lansing, and Ypsilanti. The Michigan Environmental Council will expand the program to more families in each community, collect data on the program’s impact, and determine feasibility for statewide implementation.
