Past Grants

To reduce racial disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes in Kalamazoo, the Connect Care Doula Program will integrate doulas into clinical care teams and establish a sustainable, community-based doula workforce. The program will create a culturally responsive, tiered doula registry linked to the state system, provide free training and mentorship to certify doulas, particularly those specializing in underserved populations, and connect them with families based on specific needs.
