Past Grants

Henry Ford Health System will expand Fresh Prescription, a fruit and vegetable prescription program for Detroit seniors, and collect data to support the program’s model of improving food access, eating habits, and health outcomes. This grant will increase the duration of the Eastern Market Farmstand at Henry Ford Hospital to 36 weeks and enroll an additional 450 seniors in the program. The program team will use data to demonstrate the program’s success to support the widespread replication of the program with other vulnerable populations.
