To improve breastfeeding rates and address disparities in infant nutrition among Black families in Kent County, the BeLatched program led by Strong Beginnings will employ Black lactation specialists trained in culturally appropriate nutrition education. The initiative aims to help parents reach their infant feeding goals, improve breastfeeding outcomes, enhance family engagement, and promote healthy nutrition with support from local healthcare and community partners.
