To establish accessible and culturally relevant maternal health services for Indigenous families, the Gun Lake Tribe will launch a comprehensive program at the Gun Lake Tribal Health Center. The initiative will train staff, develop referral systems and care protocols, and offer perinatal services, including doula support, home visits, and childbirth education, guided by community input and supported through partnerships with tribal health leaders.
