2022 Report

The report builds on the analyses and methods employed in the last study published three years prior, while including a new look at several specific subpopulations with unique considerations. High-level study results are once again presented in four one pagers that summarize findings separately for the Medicare, Medicaid, privately-insured, and total Michigan populations.

The final report documents methods and results of analyses to characterize current access to mental health and substance use disorder treatment in the state, describes barriers to care, and identifies potential strategies for increasing access.
