Past Grants

To improve maternal smoking cessation rates and encourage implementation of The Smoking Cessation and Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment (SCRIPT) in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (U.P.), this project will assign each participant a community health worker (CHW) to provide active encouragement and reduce capacity burdens of providers. This initiative involves collaboration with stakeholders to identify barriers and involve prenatal care practices in implementing this multi-pronged intervention.
