Past Grants

The purpose of this project is to execute a planning phase to eventually implement a prenatal and postpartum clinic in the City of Flint that will specifically address Black maternal health concerns such as preeclampsia, postpartum mood disorders, and prenatal screening for barriers to breastfeeding. Grant funds will ensure the engagement of providers such as a certified midwife, occupational therapist, and nurse practitioner, and will establish operational processes to maintain the clinic once funding is expended.
