Past Grants

Henry ford health System (HFHS) will implement systems changes to streamline screening and automate referrals to further evaluation at the HFHS’s Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders (CADD) or other community providers. Based on successful system changes seen at hospitals throughout the country, HFHS will pilot this intervention in five pediatric practices during the grant period. The project will specifically aim to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in ASD screening, referral, and access to treatment that is seen in nationwide data. The goal is that there will be no disparities in screening access across race, ethnicity, insurance type, clinic, or provider.
