This project will expand the successful fruit and vegetable prescription program piloted in the Hurley Children’s Clinic (HCC) to an additional pediatric clinic in Flint and evaluate its impact on food security, food access, and dietary patterns of children. The proposed project also includes the expansion of Flint Kids Cook, a cooking and nutrition class for children at the Flint Farmers Market, beyond patients of HCC.
