To increase participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and improve access to nutritious meals for children across the state, the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC) will conduct a study to identify barriers faced by childcare providers, particularly unlisted home-based caregivers, preventing their participation in the program. The initiative will engage the community to develop policy and programmatic recommendations that enhance CACFP enrollment, thereby improving food security and strengthening financial resources for childcare providers.
