This program intends to improve the health of older adults living in areas where it is challenging to access traditional and specialty healthcare. Connect Michigan will conduct community surveys to assess the use of telemedicine to provide access to numerous health-related services in five rural counties that have recently been connected to high-speed internet and identify barriers surrounding the use of telemedicine applications among patients and healthcare providers.
