The Michigan League for Public Policy reviewed and analyzed Michigan’s non-emergency medical transportation policy framework, service delivery systems, rates and budget, and administrative structures with national practices; conducted key informant interviews and beneficiary focus groups; identified and collected key data indicators and measures from the Medicaid Data Warehouse; and synthesized these findings into a report with recommendations for Michigan’s non-emergency medical transportation policy moving forward.
