To tackle the health concern of smoking during pregnancy, a collaborative effort led by the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and MDHHS, has initiated the implementation of a technology-driven tobacco recovery program called Incentives2Quit. The program aims to increase successful quit attempts among pregnant smokers through motivational interviewing and incentive-based treatment, paving the way for broader implementation and potential sustainable coverage for pregnant Medicaid beneficiaries statewide.
