The purpose of this project is to reduce syphilis infections and congenital syphilis through community-informed prevention intervention that increases awareness about risks, testing, and treatment of syphilis among women of childbearing age. This project will address the underserved, and often forgotten, at-risk population of women in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties, and will execute outreach activities to disseminate informational education statewide.
