To improve early childhood health and strengthen Indigenous communities’ ability to grow and share their own traditional foods, this project will expand a culturally grounded curriculum in Tribal Head Start and home visiting programs across Michigan. It will provide 400 Indigenous families with Anishinaabe language, traditional food knowledge and practices, and seasonal activities, train educators, and build connections that support healthier futures and community-led food systems.
